This are completely different characters from his other series. They were not metioned in Percy Jackson and The Twelve Olympians nor in the Heroes of Olympus. But watch out for some details that can be in connection with the other series. I'm challenging you to look for it. It's just some minor details. Be amazed, once again, by the awesome work of Rick Riordan.

There are six books in the series, five are already published and the last book : City of Heavenly fire will be published this 2014. It's a good book for teens. You should read it. The book is really good despite the not-so-good reputation of Cassy Clare, so set it aside and buy the series in the nearest bookstore :)
