Pierced Me Straight To the Heart

Stay The Same by Joey McIntyre

This song pierced me straight to the heart when I first heard this. This one of the 'sad songs' that I very much like because (a) It's touching (b)happens to real life (c) I did wish I was someone else. Someone better..better at everything. So it hit me.

A dear teacher of mine played this song during our class for our 'live wire'. Live wire is an activity we do everyday before starting our english class. In this, we share what we think about the quote chosen for the day or, like for this instance, a song. I was scared and totally taken aback when the song started. It was like someone has read my diary and made a song. I was battling with my legs which wanted to run into the comfort room, and my eyes, which threatened to spill a river of tears through the whole song. I never really liked crying in front of anyone, especially to someone I know. For me, It's better to cry in front of a complete stranger than do it around my classmates and friends.

So, I'm sharing this wonderful song to you to dilever the message that what God wants us to know. We we're born to be our very selves for some special reason. God made us like this, so we should live life like this.

Just as what I always say... "I'm me, deal with it!" ^_~
